Externally Focused Opportunities

Hosting International Students – The US-China Culture Homestay Network (UCCHN) is looking for families to host pairs of Chinese students who are visiting Davis from January 25-28. Host families will need to provide lodging, food, and minimum transportation, and will receive some financial compensation. If you would like more information about how your family could offer hospitality to these young people, please contact Mei Yan Lin at .

Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter (IRWS) – As we get closer to winter it is time to start planning for FBC’s participation in the rotating homeless shelter next year. If you would like to help drive, provide meals, or hang out with guests, or if you have any questions, please contact Joe Biggs.

Grace In Action – Your involvement in the Grace in Action ministry is a special gift of compassion and love to homeless guests! They will benefit from your donations of men's white crew socks (desperate need), Kleenex travel packets, and cough drops. For more information about Grace In Action, visit www.Grace-in-Action.org. You may send a donation to PO Box 4393 Davis, CA 95617.
