Take off with us at Amazing Wonders Aviation!
Join us the week of June 25-29 to fly around the world as we visit some of the world’s greatest natural wonders. We’ll explore exciting destinations like erupting volcanos, thundering waterfalls, vast canyons and more! And, we’ll discover more about our Awesome God, the creator of these magnificent sights!
The flight plan: Vacation Bible Camp is for kids entering Pre-K in the fall (at least 3 ½ years old and fully potty-trained) through 6th graders. Grab your flight gear and your passport and get ready for spectacular story-telling, creative crafts, delectable snacks, upbeat music, and active, original outdoor games. We’ll see you in our Rally Hangar at 9:00am on June 25th!
Pre-boarding instructions: Register now by downloading a registration form here and returning it to the FBC church office no later than June 3. Camp runs 9:00 until 11:30am each day and be sure to mark your family’s calendar for a VBC Open House under the Northern Lights on Thursday evening, June 28.
Registration fees are:
K through 6th grade: $18.00/child until 6/3; $20.00/child after 6/3
Pre-Kinder program: $12.00/child until 6/3; $14.00/child after 6/3*
*Space is limited for the Pre-K program and priority is given to volunteers, so don’t wait to register!
Music cds will be passed out to parents (one per family) at check-in on the first morning of camp.
We can’t wait to take flight with you on our adventure to discover God’s awesome power over nature, sin, death and life itself!

Redwood Day Camp is coming! Are you looking for a wholesome, fun, active summer day camp for your children? If so, RDC a great option for kids entering 1st grade through 6th grade in the fall 2012. We’ll fill the day (9 am-3 pm M-Thurs, and 9 am-1 pm Fri) with crafts, large and small group games, awesome stories, music and more all led by an energetic, well-trained staff of young adults. Kids bring their own lunch (Monday through Thursday) and provide a pizza party on Friday to celebrate the end of a great week. And, we even have one day dedicated to tons of outdoor water fun to cool off on a hot Davis afternoon.
The sessions will be: June 18-22, July 9-13, and hopefully July 30-August 3 (based on camper demand). Feel free to sign up for more than week…the stories and crafts will be different each session to give repeat campers some variety. Redwood Day Camp Counselor - If you are looking for an awesome employment opportunity and you are at least in 10th grade (college students are encouraged to apply), you are eligible to apply to be a counselor for Redwood Day Camp, FBC’s summer camp for kids entering 1st-6th grade. RDC Junior Counselor - Are you entering grades 8-10 in the fall and thinking about how to spend some of your free time this summer? If so, consider applying to be a junior counselor at Redwood Day Camp. You can receive great on the job training for future counselor opportunities and have fun playing with younger kids all at the same time! To apply, fill out the application here and give it either to RDC Director Kyle Fall or Children’s Ministry Director Kristi Gladding. Applications are due Sunday, May 13 and a mandatory training will be held on June 2. Be prepared for a short and casual interview in late May. Download application (PDF).

Vacation Bible Camp at FBC is coming! Mark your family’s calendar for June 25-29, 9:00-11:30am. Kids entering Pre-Kindergarten (must be at least 3 ½ and potty-trained) through 6th grade in the fall of 2012 are invited to join us for an activity-packed week of fun! The exciting theme is still a secret, but the VBC team is already working hard to make this week of camp awesome and fun! Registration for the pilot Pre-K drop-off program will be limited, so be sure to reserve your child’s spot as soon as registration begins in mid-April.
